Dreamroot releases Leaf, an instrumental album drawing from their collective musical backgrounds and influences. Some of the songs feature acoustic arrangements and some venture into electric sounds. Their approach to music allows them to cover a broad range of styles. Leaf simultaneously grooves and honors sounds from the past as it draws inspiration from those icons who have walked the lines between genres, and shines with original brilliance from the collaborative creative efforts of all members of the band. This performance will showcase music from the Leaf and will also give a sneak peak into the next project featuring vocalist Mykl Hanna.
The band consists of Theous Jones (drums and percussion), Ittai Korman (acoustic and electric bass), Lynn Grissett (trumpet and tenor saxophone) and Joe MacPhail (piano and keyboards) and will feature Mykl Hanna (vocals).
